In the beginning...

This is the first entry of this blog. The blog will be dedicated to the process of building a functional Mech. I expect this to take around twelve years to complete. This mech is going to be based off of the GOL-4S Goliath Battlemech from the mechwarrior and Battletech series of games and books. I intend to use hydraulics to make the mech walk. I will detail the designs and post pics and, if possible, video Chronicling The entire process, from sketching out the theory, to testing the system on a small scale, to building the full scale version and testing the mech's capabilities.
